True.. I spent one week in Phuket just a couple of months ago. Stayed in just one resort in Bang Tao. A lot of Russians in there staying long term renting houses. Kids going to International schools. There are restaurant areas only serving Russian food.
Every morning around 6.30 we go for a beach walk and have a dip. Andaman sea is quite warm in the mornings. I meet the same people most of the time and one day a couple of families came and had a chat with us. They were Russian. Conversation was from where are we from and continued everytime we met them. They told us that they were very long term residents.

Said that they are in Thailand just because of that moron Putin. They said all who had money and intelligent had to leave the country because of this moron and the idiots who are around him.

I think many people, like here, doing business in the tourism sector, curse Putin.

I do not live in Russia and this is what these guys told me. Not my viewpoint. Putin initially did some reforms to develop Russia and you are right there. But later on many accused him of developing himself and these days he's acting like a moron.

There had been a long lasting invisible war between Russia and the US. Each other want the destruction of the other for their own national security and political ideologies. Whoever become the president has to respond to threats.

It's mainly the US that create chaos around the world. USA has 828 military bases in 97 Countries (Russia has only 58 bases in 10 Countries). To maintain these bases, USA needs massive amounts of money. How do they earn it? By creating chaos, they manufacture wars in foreign nations and feeds war machinery for profit. Or try to exploit country's resources.

This is what the US trying to do in Ukraine (as they did in many other places like Libiya). They want Ukraine's rich mineral resources in exchange of military funds and in the process try to establish military presence in the region to threaten Russia.

Russia in war for their long-term national security though it is not acceptable the way they are trying to achieve it. The US dragged Ukraine into a war for their own military and monetary interests.

I do not like or support any conflicts no matter whether its the West or the East. I usually do not comment either. When all the self proclaimed 'war experts' in here said that Putin will be in Kyiv in a week, I said not even in six months. Check my old posts if you don't believe.
The only other comment I made on 'this' war is that it's a totally unwanted war started just after the World is recovering from a disaster started by another stupid, arrogant moron. (probably not the same words but on the same note)
