Some places like national labs (some) and some specialized places ask for US citizenship. Lost some opportunities back then due to this :(

This should be the practice everywhere. But will never happen in Sri Lanka. I had an interview recently ,most of the questions were about my personal life not related to the position I'm applying for.

I'm not a whining baby and I would really prefer the questions categorized as inappropriate over the ones categorized as appropriate tbh. I don't care even if they ask me if I've got a d*ck. plus a company is a capitalist concept and its primitive intention is to generate money. not to appease snowflakes. and not to make sure if everyone's not getting offended.

nowadays the world's becoming too fake and people are trying to hide the reality with as much icing as they can rather than confronting the truth. These countries will see the consequences of being too soft abandoning capitalism and accommodating liberal extremism at some point.

If i were to start a company i would definitely hire the person who says he's joined the company to earn money over the person who says he's joined the company for experience bla blah blah.

When I hire people, I give most priority to atheists, therefore I dodge the US rules by asking do you go anywhere on Sunday mornings?

    :D
