Thanks!!!! Beautiful shots. Been to Milford Sound. Beautiful place. Good for whale watching too. Also Scotland. Lofoten Islands. Cradle Mountains - Tasmania, Iceland, Lichtenstein, Quebec and Freudenberg - but these pics are stunning.

Lofoten is a beautiful island in the Arctic circle belonging to Norway. Much more beautiful than this picture. Warm currents keep the it warm enough to make it nice and green. About 1.5 hrs flying time from Oslo. You could take a ferry too from Bodo too. Takes about 3.5 hrs.

Off a remote township in Lofoten, I met a SriLankan family from Jaffna in a shopping mall. In fact, his wife overheard me taiking to my son in Sinhalese and later on, he came looking for me. This guy told me that he left SL just after Duraiappah was murdered because his father told him that things are not going to be any good and to run away as fast as possible. This was the beginning of the LTTE problems. He said that I am the only SL visitor he ever saw in Lofoten and insisted that I visit his place for dinner. Anyway, thanked him and had a coffee with him as I was about to leave that town for another for the night stay. SriLankans are everywhere too!

SriLankan products are there even in the Antractic areas too. In Tierra Del Fugo, at the hotel , there were Dilmah tea bags.:) Both Black & Green. We are not doing that bad.

Your photos brought back nostalgic memories. I should also mention member D_Mad too. He also posts lovely shots.
