true machang...the war is a result of series of political games started by bloody JR and continued by Premada, Ponil and CBK..atleast MR is going forward with the war...as far as the economy is concerned, its very hard to keep up the economy and low cost of living when the country is on a war..see whats happenning to USA economy..

the best option/solution I see is an end of the war by the war! (we will see many losses in the furtue but thats the nature of war).. if the government pressured to go to a political solution again (as bloody Ponil and other senoir UNPers urge) that will be the end of Sri Lanka and we would have insulted our war heros' efforts...thats my opinion...

the current situation/economical downfall in Sri Lanka didnt occur overnight..its a result of many years of political screw ups..thats the truth..BUT these bloody UNPers and others blame current government for the downfall and most of the ordinary people think its the government's fault and hope UNP or JVP could do a better job..that is whats happenning at the moment...

that is why this war should end soon..and the only way to correct the past mistakes is by eliminating/supressing LTTE...hope MR will get an opportunity and luck to acheive this...
