I used to salvage good cells from old laptop battries (just for my hobby stuff), had good reqults/capacity with those cells.

Also you can buy branded CATL, EVE etc, brand new LFP cells from various imports in LK (check facebook groups), those are better than 18650, you just have to use a LFP competible BMS. since thse cells are branded, are more relible.
thsere are so many counterfeit 18650 cells. (you can buy samsung named het shrink for those cells,
