Yes sir, Thailand for the last 8 years. Our car culture is not as good as Australia (we dont get too many American cars as Australia). But it's not bad at all with pretty chill regulations. I drive a Lancer with a 98 Decibel s/s exhaust and it's street legal and my 95' Astina makes 150WHP at 8000rpm with a 2.5 inch s/s straight through (cat delete) exhaust and even that's street legal.

Brandnew thama. Unma kiyai pita thanakata yanna kiyala. Brandnew engima over 1 million. Labor cost thawa 2-3 laks.

Maybe. Since we don't know what the actual problem is, so there can be several options to consider. You are looking at a used engine to buy and it could go either way. Yes if the head is damaged then best thing is to replace with another engine. If repairable personally I would go for a rebuild and I had done that in the past.

ECU remap and stuff ... well for premio I don't think so. Doable but defeats the purpose of having that car. Just my opinion.

I have done once for a Lancer cb2 some 8 years ago. It cost me around 50K from a nearby garage. Took about 5 days. Prices probably have gone up by now.
