Sony Alpha DSLR-A950, the upcoming Sony top SLR full frame camera, may be released in July or so. Is it a rumor? In my opinion, this news may be true. Now let's take you an analysis.
Sony is very active in these days, "Sony NEX-3 Production Halts" and "Sony Alpha A77 Appearance Exposure in the official website". It seems that Sony may to release new products, Sony Alpha NEX-C3, Sony Alpha A77, Sony NEX-7 or Sony Alpha DSLR-A950? Sony Alpha NEX-C3 is the update version of Sony NEX-3, if Sony Alpha NEX-C3 is not a rumor, it may be launched in March or April. Sony Alpha A77, Sony NEX-7 and Sony Alpha DSLR-A950 may be released in mid-2011, June, July or August.
The reason is Sony NEX-7 is the update version of Sony NEX-5, the NEX-5 has not been in production halts, so the NEX-7 may not come soon. As to Sony Alpha A77 and Sony Alpha DSLR-A950, they may be released in mid-2011 predicted by Thom Hogan. But it is hard to say the three camera to come together.
It is said that Sony's new full-frame digital SLR camera, the new A950 will carry on more than 3000 million pixel sensor and a new Quad-Bionz image processing engine.
