Hi. Pretty long time I'm looking closely to the wwwa.elakiri.com. I like this forum. I'm not sure is the this right category , but I reaply need the answer.

#4 Can an universal charger damagemy copmute?
My charger that came with my hp pavillion laptop died on me early last year so i brought a new hp charger on ebay. Hoqever unfortunately that died just this week. So of course i have to replace it, this time though I've decided that maybe instead of buying one on ebay (all of the ones that i can find that can be used with my laptop are questionable in terms of their authenticity) that maybe i should just buy a universal charger in stores. However a long time ago i remember reading that universal chargers can sometimes damage your laptop. is that true??

Do NOT buy universal charges. They are not meant for laptops and the voltage is not steady on those.
If all your laptop chargers dies, then that means there's a major problem with the main electrical lines. check those or atleast use a voltage stabilizer in front of the laptop charger.
