Sri Lankans living under bridge in Saudi say no move to send them home

A group of Sri Lankan labourers who have been residing near a bridge in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, say that although they have been made to face severe hardships over the recent past, no programme has been initiated as yet for their repatriation.
They say that they arrived at this location after they lost their jobs, and have not received adequate food and water over the past several days. Reports indicate that there are about 1200 Sri Lankan nationals currently residing at this location.
