64bit or 32bit Please Help

Hi,

I want to detect whether my "CPU" is 64 bit or not? Please reply.

Anyway, your CPU is not "truly" 64bit.

All these x86 processors (AMD and Intel) are not truly 64bit. They are only an extension of the x86 instruction set architecture. They are called x64 processors, rather than 64bit processors. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/X86-64

Only the Itanium (IA-64) CPUs are truly 64bit.
