5th November 2020 â (Subang, Indonesia) Not too long ago or specifically just about a month ago, a particular 78-year-old man got happily married to a young 17-year-old girl. This story occurred in Subang, West Java, Indonesia and it went viral all over the world. Unfortunately, the couple got divorced on the 30th of October 2020 after only 22 days of marriage. Abah Sarna, 78 and Noni Navita, 17 were married last month and they attracted a lot of attention because of their vast age difference.
According to a report, the 78-year-old man and ex-wife ended their 22-day marriage after the husband decided to send a divorce letter to his wifeâs sister said that her family was truly shocked after finding out about what occurred between both of them. This is because it happened all of a sudden without any signs of problems in their relationship all this while.
There were certain allegations claiming the girl was pregnant before the marriage but it Noniâs sister denied any of it to be true. During the wedding, Abah had sent a lot of stuff for Noni which attracted lots of attention.
The sister said, âI was shocked because there was no âwind and stormâ, it suddenly became like thisâ. She also added, âOur family has no problem with him. However, the problem came from him and his family who seemed to object to the marriageâ.
According to the brideâs sister, his actions had really degraded her familyâs dignity. She also said that what happened made her sister depressed.
She stated that âAfter receiving the letter, my sister did not have an appetite for a day. However, the situation is now betterâ. Meanwhile, she has denied all the allegations that the divorce happened because she was pregnant before marrying him.
