2009 cut-off marks for universities by end June, says UGC

The cut-off marks for the admission of students to universities for 2009 will be released by end June. The marks could be released 10 days after the release of the re-scrutiny results of the Advance Level examinations, says the University Grants Commission (UGC).

The new students will be able to begin their university academic activities by August. Nearly 20,000 are to be admitted to universities this year, adds the UGC.
