NOTE : This keyboard is meant for Symbian S60v5 phones with a touch screen (i.e Nokia 5800, N97, Samsung Omnia HD etc..)

Landscape mode (opera KB)

Portrait mode (Opera KB)

This is an amazing new keyboard layout for Nokia and Samsung phones running S60v5 (Symbian 9.4). You can change that boring default keyboard to one of the 7 layouts provided by this new app.
Things I like about this new layout

1. Now you can switch between landscape and portrait modes of the keyboard by turning the phone
2. Multiple characters on one key (with shift key) or drag your finger across the key to choose the alternate character, very convenient
3. Mini QWERTY keyboard (in portrait mode) is now usable with your fingers, because the keys are sufficiently large (not like that tiny useless Nokia standard mini QWERTY keyboard)
4. Landscape mode keys are is also spread-out making them larger than those on default Nokia KB
5. The opera look alike version looks much better than the standard skin
6. You can also use iPhone keyboard (but I prefer the Opera one), but with iPhone KB you get quick access to smileys

How to install

1. The installer is unsigned, therefore you either have to hack your phone or sign it first
2. Install the sis file
3. Reboot the phone
4. If the keyboard doesn’t start working automatically then go to Applications > Select the one with four color flower like icon (text will appear as boxes if you don’t have Chinese character set, but don’t worry, you don’t need to read anything) > choose the first option > Change it from AknFEP to the other one (one with the unreadable characters).

How to change between Opera and iPhone leyouts

I'm using it now and love it.. This makes the QWERTY KB a loads better !! I highly recommend it. if you need help post here.
