A Request to Ex-President

As a Sri Lankan I make this kind request from you.
This is the only thing I request.

It's okay your family and you might have earned as much as possible from the country. I dont care.
It's okay you jeopardized the law and order of the country. I dont care.
Please stop spreading racism in the country.

You had the best chance to unite the country after the war victory.
Please don't destroy the chance we have right now.

We have suffered enough from a war.
26,000 soldiers died. Civilians died.
We dont need another war.
Accept your defeat and do the real politics not racism.

Be the president who finished the war,
not a person who starts a war.

Won the war by uniting people but lost voter base by dividing people on Race. The tyrant is gone. If he thinks he can become priminister after 100days in next election see how people would support a non courrupt government. He humiliated people voices this is how God punishes him in disgrace. SLFP cannot take power until next 4 years. Because even if SLFP win probably another paliment election will be held in between. The power of calling for election is still in presidents hands.
