Legal aspects consider only logic and evidence.
Medical aspects consider the living beings before thinking about the unborn.
So both those subject areas does not go inline with Humanity.
(But Legal and Medical professionals always brag saying they help humanity - which is not the reality anyway...)

In terms of Humanity - YES. If the mother was a victim of a rape.
Medical - YES - if the mother is in danger.
Medical - NO - Even the deformed babies do have a right to live. and medicine is there to help them live their lives.
Legal - NO - Killing is a crime however you do it.
That's why 'abortion' is a never ending debate - it is a paradoxical debate actually. Both YES and NO have their advantages and disadvantages over each other.
This debate will never be solved anyway...

Yeah. Some countries have legalised it. But as I said before, it is a paradox. Both positives and negatives in both the options.
Considering all aspects I don't think nothing....
Because the logical part of me telling to go ahead because of rapes, abnormalities of babies etc.
But the human part says no, because of the innocent life/ lives.
It's up to the Mother I think. Mother should have the liberty to choose what she wants.
Anyway I don't know about the current law about abortion in SL - Sorry.
