speed 2-20kbps maximum.....buy dialup instead...
im a user of the Airtel...and i hate it..
coz of the speed ..some time google does not load even..
never go for it..charter..

Don't even think of buying that piece of garbage and fall into trouble like me.. Its a total waste of money and time..

My maximum speed comes around 13kbps.
i have been having this connection for 4 months now hoping it will improve but it gets worse day by day. Im going to get it disconnected at this end of this month..

airtel gat te mage laptop akata mata wireless use karan na puluwan nisa car ake unat..kiyan ne 3.2mbps kiyala kiyana wegan 5% witara speed akak wat na...
dan na kenekuta nam kiyan ne..gan na nam epa..
march wala edan ohomai...ena mase hari yanawa kiw wa..eet mata nam sure akak na..tikak kal gihin gan na...

Thx for sharing ur idea, looks like ur getting 1.45 out of 3.6. can u pls tell me is this the speed around the clock or does it slow down on peak hours.

SLT dial up looks better than this ne.

after 3am u can get 1mb..until 7am
thats the max i get @ moratuwa....tested on ja-ela as well...

Well looks like Airtel is not an option, The only thing i don't like on Dialog and Mobitel is there so called "Fair Usage Policy". Except that Dialog speed is good even in peak hours.

Well even Airtel increases there bandwidth i don't think we can trust those ppl.

buy a dialog student package
for pre paidd use mobitel daily delight is better..and the KitBB if ur hoping to download a larger quota..

I think its best to get 1 from a friend for few days and test it and be sure.
