And why you oppose allied health sciences people from studying in the government universities and making enoromous problems for them with having practicals in gov. Hospitals????? Is this your free education.. Comeon guys... Wakeup... Itz just for your gain.. I'm a IT graduate from a gov University and we never opposed anyone having private degrees.. We found our own jobs. Why itz so special with medicos????

Yes Free education system should be there in Sri Lanka.. Simply for the needy people. But Sri Lankans do not value the things that are given free. Tell me how many of you took good care of the text books we received for free???

I think the government should implement a method where they should charge from the beneficiaries of free education who do not value that system.

Whats up with these medical ppl. They are shouting about this free education system. They learn from free education and once they become doctors they forget the past. They forget that they came to that position from the money from poor people. No offense machan.. But as a citizen of Sri lanka I am seriously disappointed how MAJORITY of the doctors are taking poor peoples lives as bates and do business.

e wagema government wada karana time 1e dan katawath privat practice karanna ba, neethiyen thahanam, e nisa apata ba e aya nidahas addyapanayen egenagattata thamange wagakemm paharaharinawa keyala. mokada government time 1e wada karanawane, but government time 1th private practice karanawanam un jarama jara thamai, minissunge salliwalin nikan egenagen minissu hooragena kanawa.

SO true... we will never understad the VALUE OF FREE EDUCATION...
IT IS free EVEN DEGREE....

if you went overseas for studies you will UNDERSTAND it.

and agree with doctors. most of em dont even know how to talk people... not only doctors all who is doing Good jobs.... most of em...

Meekane kathaawa... Free education should be safe guarded... No argument on that. Apith goda giye eeken thamai. Eewunaata jepponge n medicoslage pradaana illeema pvt uni's daana denna epaa kiyana eka.. Mokada ethakota rag eka deela freshaalage oluwata visabeeja daana beene jepponta. Salli thiyena kollo eewa bula kelinne nethuwa igena ganna yodawanawanam rate sallith ithuru wenawa n untath yahapathak wenawa.

free stuff always has a hole on it.. people used to say that for a long time... and now i see this being possible to apply on our free education as well.. out dated, crappy study loads, do or die type hard examination making competition tougher than WW2, having not enough space for students in universities causing talented students to fall in the FAILED category etc things are making the free education in sl a difficult pathway and in the same time a lot more non free but better rewarding pathways are being offered in sl.

Everyone else benefits from Private medical schools. We should organise a campaign against these bastards.

Can't Understand why these people don't understand that its a Good thing. Free education is good, Who said its bad or going to stop??. The moral of this thread is over establishing private medical faculty in Malebe. Don't need to talk about it over & over again. Lets say some how these super maniacs managed to stop this university from opening. Please remember that does not mean you saved free education of our country. It means you you got to gather with bunch of JVP morons and stole the right of education from the same people in this country. Don't need to discuss this over and over again. This is a good thing happening to our country. Lets help it to rebuild out nation. My wish is to see more and more educated people in the future.
