I have Acer 5920G.I'm using it 24/7 . No problems so far. I even dropped it once.

Acer is good. They have problems with their old models. Now they fix it. No worries.

ya ya...there was many battery, HDD and LCD prbs with older ones, but even they also worked fine if the user keep it with full maintenance...(i know a guy who working with a old model but he is keeping it as his "as deka" so its still FINE...)

and now the acer's products are almost fine as other brands...

there are two models; the Aspire 8920G and the Aspire 6920G. Both feature an Intel Centrino Core 2 Duo processor and Vista Ultimate or Home Premium and up to 4GB of DDR2 667MHz memory, depending on your tastes. Both also have an integrated webcam, fingerprint reader, draft-N wireless, Bluetooth, CineDash media controller (see above photo) and Acer Arcade Deluxe software for all your media files.
The 6920G can handle a 320GB hard drive, 1X Blu-ray Super Multi double-layer drive, and your choice of a 16-inch LCD screen at 1920×1080 or 1366×768. Graphics are handled courtesy of an NVIDIA GeForce 9500M GS with 512MB of dedicated video RAM that can also grab up to 768MB of system RAM. The notebook weighs 7.7 pounds with the standard battery attached.
The 8920G can handle two hard drives of up to 320GB each, 2X Blu-ray Super Multi double-layer drive, and comes with an 18.4-inch LCD running at full HD (1920×1080). You can opt for the same GeForce 9500M GS graphics or bump it up to the 9650M. Video RAM is the same as the 6920G. The notebook weighs nine pounds with the standard battery. Nine pounds.
Both will be available in about a month with pricing starting at $900 and topping out at under $2000 depending on your configuration.
