When you need to add images to a thread/post in elakiri, you can't drag&drop images directly on to that thread/post.

In order to add images to elakiri you have to add them with the help of an image hosting service like postimage.org, tinypic.com, imgur.com & etc. or images published on another website.

But considering the availability reasons using image hosting service is the best solution.
Normally images added through an Image hosting service allows you to display the images for much longer time which is very important to keep your thread/post contents consistency for longer time.

This thread will guide you with simple step-by-step approach how to use "imgur.com" for that task.

    1.Go to http://imgur.com/ main page.

    2.Click "New Post"...

3.Then "Browse" or "Drag&Drop" for upload image/s in local pc.
Or "Paste Image or URL" to add image from another web page( which aren't saved in your local pc)

After images been loaded & processed, you'll see a TextBox with a "Copy" button & dropdown button (Down Arrow) on each image.

4.Now click the dropdown and you'll see few options.

if that image's horizontal pixel number is higher than 800 or so (like 1920*1080, any resolution (y×x) that x is higher than 800), we have to resize it to a resolution which has less than 800 horizontal pixels.
Otherwise that image makes your thread/post unreadable for viewers since it corrupts the thread layout.

If no Resizing or Croppng is needed directly jump to Step "8".

Else select "Edit Image" if Image Resizing or Cropping is needed.
then you'll get a view page like this

If you want to crop image, perform Step "5".
If only Resizing is needed, go to Step "6".

    5. make a selection on the image by click&drag on the image.

Click "Apply". And if no resizing is needed, go to Step "7". Otherwise perform Step "6" too.

6.Now double click on horizontal pixel value (x) & set it to 800. MAKE SURE YOU HAVE TICKED THE "LOCK PROPORTIONS",So Vertical pixel amount(y) is auto calculated accordingly. Otherwise only the edited value will be changed which leads to pretty weird looking picture :P.
    Now press "Enter".

    7.Click "Save" button.

You'll be back on the previous page, since you have resized image properly, now you can add the image to your thread/post safely.

8.again Click on the dropdown arrow & select "Get Share Links".

Now Click on "Copy" button with the BBCode(Forums) TextBox & link will be copied to your clip board/memory.

9.Now simply paste it on your thread/post.

    That's it, you're done!
