OK, this is a yarn I heard over dinner on Sunday, in sinhalese, since I cant bother typing this in Sinahalese, I'll try to translate it,
There were three close friends, who had bad habits;
Friend 1 : Danushka - Addicted to smoking
Friend 2 : Boman - Addicted to Alchohol
Friend 3 : Dheerath - Addicted to homosexuality (OK, some say it is a bad habit
)
These three friends one day met a wise man, who told them that "if you guys ever induldged in your bad habits ever again, you gonna die on the spot", the friends got scared.
When they were walking back, they saw a pub, the temptation was too much, Boman, the alchoholic wanted a drink, other two agreed, saying that the wise man was just bluffing. As soon as Boman finished his drink, surely as the wise man predicted, Boman died on the spot.
Afetr the funeral, Danushka & Dheerath were walking down the street,when Danushka the smoker spotted a just lit, brand new cigarette on the street, temptation was too much for Danushka to bear. Noticing Danushka's temptation, Dheerath, the homosexual said
"Machan Danushka, remember what happened to Boman? the wise man was right. If you bend over to smoke that cigarrette, both you & me gonna die on the spot"
