when i fix the adsl line to the splitter, the fone doesnt work...and wen i fix the fone line to the splitter , the adsl line doest work......

That means you havent connected the splitter correctly..

Or the splitter is damaged...

Connect the telephone line to line in slot of the splitter..
Then connect the phone to phone slot
and connect the ADSL modem wire to the ADSL slot....

If this wont wrk.. try consider buying a new splitter or repairing ..

1. ur splitter is not working
2. u are not connected properly
