BSNL Broadband Connection
This broadband connection is in tandem with existing BSNL landlines. If you do not have an existing landline from BSNL, you will need to pay advance sums and get it booked. Once you have the landline, you need to apply for a broadband connection. You can select from business or home connections. The prices of the packages will differ. For example, in the home connection only one user can access while in business connection a multiple user option is available. There isn’t much that one can hope for in terms of the download speed as it occurs from underground cables. In fact, BSNL broadband connection has one of the poorest download speeds amongst all other service providers. Package pricing starts from 250 INR in a month and upwards. This is inclusive of download speeds extending between 256 Kbps to around 2 Mbps. You can download files of maximum size 1 GB. You can also access diverse services using BSNL broadband like video conferencing facility, VPN, broadcast application, multicasting etc.

Reliance Broadband Connection
This broadband connection is unfortunately not available in all cities of India. However, the download speeds are good and you get a high quality of service from Reliance. You can avail both postpaid and prepaid plan packages that come with various plans like Data Transfer, Flat Fee, Night Unlimited and many others. The starting price of the internet packages is around 900 INR each month and you get access to multiple user facility as well. Maximum download speeds can even be 4 Mbps. There is an initial installation fee involved of 1000 INR and you get 50 MB of storage space free of cost along with 2 email IDs of Ricmail.com.
