    I have a SLT ADSL 1000 package
    My router is D-Link GLB-502T

SLT says that "Encapsulation" should be set as "LLC" in "pppoe".
But there is no "encapsulation" in "pppoe" but there is in "pppoa" in router settings.
    "pppoa" doesn't work.
All the othere settings are there.

    Please help ASAP .....

Yeah... that may be get selected automatically. even in the US Robotics routers you can set the Encapsulation to be selected automatically by sensing ... Or the setting is in your advance settings.. dnt know exactly.

    Thanks friend.
    But still it didn't work.
Did you have any alternations in the "Advanced" tab

Is this the first time that u r trying to connect to internet via DSL??
or else hav u used the username and the password beofre.because most of the time the password on the small note is wrong,if u want to make sure dial 1243 and ask them to reset ur password and add ur telephone number to that (Eg:2xxxxxx)

Looks like d-link modem firmware is too old. download latest update (the one with built in PPPoE LLC support)

this will fix your problem 100%

    regards

PS- here is a link to download D-link router firmware download. im not sure your model is there :(
    http://www.wardrive.net/firmware/dlink#802.11g

Bad news is some ppl say no updates available for this model (have a little prayer before you start searching :):) )

    tell us your results.

BEFORE YOU DO ANYTHING TRY THIS SETTINGS. THIS IS WORKING ADSL2 CONECTION WITH YOUR D-Link GLB-502T

US Robotics is good too,but I cnt tell about their product's robustness.I use DLink for my hotspot so far so good, run 24x7 sometimes on full load :P yet it can manage the connections

dont wanna tell about my network that will make this topic an offtopic
