seems like you having single port router and you use it with one computer and modem with other computer am i right?,if so then you have to do like this.use your router with one pc and fix a another network card to the that PC and then join u r two computers using that network card and make a bridge conection.then you will able to go internet from both pc's.

Yes machan you are correct. I got a Aztech modem & a single port " Bullion " ADSL Router. I got another beetel "adsl2+modem" . It can be used as a modem or a router. The router settings are not working with my PC.

one way is to use the router..........if it has more than one port.......put seperate cables for both machines.......
if it has only one port....
get a PCI NIC - a(bout Rs.500) and then install it.......connect ya other pc to it using a cross cable....share the connection of the modem..so u can acces internet through both machines.........

or else buy a switch/hub for the router (RS.3000) and that can have many machines connected....

PS: no one would buy a single port router........:)

Free hambuwechcha single port routers. Yaluwek dunna india wala connection ekath ekka free denawa kiyala.

Hey guys I have two computers & a 512kbps ADSL slt connection. two are in seperate rooms.I have a router & a modem.I go online with the computer with modem. But when I need to go online throught my other computer I need to remove the phone line from the modem & vice versa. Cant use adsl at the same time with the both computers.

Hey guys do you know a way how I can solve this? To fix a way that both computers can go online at the same time. Its ok if the speed gets divided. btw I dont know about networking & those units cost like hell right. Please give me you opinion please :) :) :) :)

Why on earth are you using a router AND a modem ? just use the router and plug both PCs to the router.

    Single port router ekakne machan
Buy a 4 port switch and connect both PCs to the switch. Also fix the router to the switch. This is the easiest thing to do and 4 port switches are not expensive.
