ADSL ZTE ZXDSL 852 HELP

hey macho I need serious help
I am using a ZTE ZXDSL 852 ADSL Modem and running XP as the OS
I want to make my modem connect automatically to the net when i start windows. I tried putting it in the startup items but it didn't dial automatically.
So ANY IDEAS PLZ HELP ME

    Your are right but when I start windows I still have to dail again to connect can't i make it auto dial when i boot up

    thats da way of it bro...if u r using a router with a ethernet port, u dont want 2 dial, but with da modem...u hv 2 dial once...and each time u boot ur machine..coz modem is using its own software...and its a externel hardware...

    so no way i can autodial when i boot???????????????PLZ help

    Control Panel > Internet Options > Connections Tab > (Select Connection that you want to Connect always) > Click "Set Default" > Then Select "Always Dial my Default Connection > OK

    Hope this will work...

    Or Try this..

    Control Panel > Network Connection > Advanced Menu > Dialup Preferences > (Uncheck "Disable autodial while I am logged on" and "Always ask me before autodialing") and OK
