What do you think about putting Commarcials in Music Videos and TV channels editing them?

It all come to one point In sri lanka No market value for music videos so artist have to
put there money and produce and give to media so that need huge money so
they have to cover up expenses

On tv channels way they cant play them with brand name because that will be free promotion.

I think best way is make add free video and tell media station to buy
so finally media ststion cant run with out it so they will buy it
that the best solution .

umm not sure whether they can crop it like that..........i guess they cant cos otherwise they've already done it.

well I think without advertisements, most artists can't afford the cost of making those. And when they get in to media stations, they edit it and remove those. Because of this thing, some firms have been discouraged on sponsoring.

In other hand, most music videos are showing advertisements in very very very cheap way. I guess not only media stations, but also we viewers don't want to watch ads in music videos. Best way is to choose alternative ways to show them which will be regarded to the video as in foreign films.

hmmm im asking dis coz i have no idea wats happning 2 a vid wen it goes to SL tv channel...

bt it's better to make an original vid without any of dese ads.. even tho sum ppl have money, dey do this for earn more money,... in sum vids dere r advertising more dan 5 categories .. dats cheap man

I think Advertising in Music video is a common thing in Music Industry. Even Black Eyed Peas put Advertisements Ex. Nokia. and Fergie and so many Artist like Timberland and Kanye West. but This advertising should be a bit professional and meaninful.

But in Sri Lanka also doing this Videos with Advertisments but Some Advertisements are good with the Video and some Advertisements are suck and not even matchy to the Video. And some Artist put so many Advertisments so that they can earn from that. Its like when a monkey get something he try to do all the things from that. same as that... This should be bit professional way. and TV channels in Sri Lanka should allow for that too. but for some extent...

Yes some times very new artists are also using commarcials in videos...
The case is different when new artist are commarcialising their videos...
Many media stations try to promote new artist but if a new artist use a
Commarcial in his video insted of editing the song Media Stations will not
Play it.. I think its common sense

I suggest the way Bathiya N Santhush Doing it!
Remember the O sathi Video and the dialog commarcial...
And Res Vihidena Samanaliyak and Rexona...
That is very smart marketing.....
