i dunno its jus emabarassin shi cuz its damn obvius dat dey trynna advertise sum shi.

Kit Kat or sum shi n nescafe n all dat shi. yeh i kno dat u need sum papr 2 make dem vidz but cnt dey make da advertisin a lil bit less obvius? cuz its prety funny.
im lyk damn u in mah muic now as well. leave me alone u monstrz. n probbli ppl do get sik o songz wen dey c da shi dat u c evrywhere in dem.
nah i dnt wnt dat nescafe ICE *expression of disapprovement* in da song + it aint fly. well if dey relli relli wanna get sum commercial shi in dere cnt dem artists get da money off da brndz lyk nike, everlast, reebok n shi. cuz dey kinda connected 2 da hop hip dan Rainco.

Artist can use the music video in to a commarcial like...
Daddy + Hutch the yauwanaye hanguman song Its SMART Thinkin
Its really funny when some song video has the main model drinking Smahan!

and abt ads in a vid.. yaaaa as u all sed it is cheap. it can be coz dey dnt have money and all.. bt i dont think it's professional enogh... bt v cant stop this nah??
bt it's better to make an original vid without any of dese ads.. even tho sum ppl have money, dey do this for earn more money,... in sum vids dere r advertising more dan 5 categories .. dats cheap man

Yes it really damages the proffessionalisum of the video...
Some people try to put all types of products in there songs thats really silly..
Some media stations are editing the video because a minute of a Tv station cost over 100000(According to my knowladge) Will they give it for free? I don't thinks so.....

I think Advertising in Music video is a common thing in Music Industry. Even Black Eyed Peas put Advertisements Ex. Nokia. and Fergie and so many Artist like Timberland and Kanye West. but This advertising should be a bit professional and meaninful.

But in Sri Lanka also doing this Videos with Advertisments but Some Advertisements are good with the Video and some Advertisements are suck and not even matchy to the Video. And some Artist put so many Advertisments so that they can earn from that. Its like when a monkey get something he try to do all the things from that. same as that... This should be bit professional way. and TV channels in Sri Lanka should allow for that too. but for some extent...

Ya.... Artists should come up with new ideas of advertising like BN'S did in O sathi and Resvihidena and Daddy did in Yauwanaye Hanguman!

tv channels have no right to cut them coz tv channels get populler by songs(in my point of view)

Do you think TV channels get populer by songs!
So then why do you think like that can you please justify that!
I mean by giving an example! If u think of Derana they spend their air time by Music Videos...
Thats why they don't cut the commarcials but Its really childish...
If a TV channel can't spen their Air time on their own its really a Big weakness...
Even TNL are telecasting "The Buddhist" to spend their air time thats a good thing but very lame when the channel is only depending on Music Videos!

But don't you think its unfair? A TV company is paid 100,000 per min(roughly) and will they give it for free.... NO.
The govenment channels like Rupavahini and ITN will not even telecast them....
Sirasa , Swarnawahini , Max are atleast editing them and promoting the artist!!!!

Please Remember By playing a Video is doing a flavor for the artist and to his music by promoting..
If artists are Prostituting their videos its a bad treand!!

Putting advertisements is not a wrong thing and i dont thing it will look wrong as long as u insert it to da video ia a proper way. some videos v c ads all over. some videos just nice amounts. as all of us agree there is no market for music videos in our country.these videos are famous mostly bocz of the internet.thank to the sites like EK.

and mostly arltists use Ads just bcoz they dont hv enough money to do it in a quality way.

best option have a Sri lankan version of MTV (music TV).i mean its a very hard reality.but in Sri lanka v got a quite a big number of musicians, different kind of music.so i dont think it will b a problem of running the channel. and there will b loads of sponsers and most importantly there will b loads of ppl watching it..( i mean there is a good intrest for music in SL)

so may b dat will help the artists to take out ads from video and sponsers can put dat add in da channel rite after dat video or some thing like dat...

putting ads on music videos is bad for viewers imo,and also in SL the way creators show ads is very immature,in irajs mata sithanna baa video they dance with eating polo[i think,i cant remember which exactly] and imo thats very dumb and childish act

so my opinion is tv stations should pay for artists for their vids,and new SL music channel C should pay them univa defa imo,cause we pay them too

and also SL ads[not all,but lot] r very dumb imo,even indian ads r better than SL ads

If u remember a music Video of Duppath eas Deka by Chamika Sirimanna..
In that video theres a advertisement for a excersising machine but only a person who is interested about it will notice it!

Like SMS of Daddy... Kottu Of Iraj... Every other song of Kasun Kalhara....
As a point of view of industry say ads make it grow But
