I think its quite important to stress the fact that peacetalks do work (like with the IRA in the UK), and that we should be persistent and not just brush the idea away due to our badly conducted attempt.Hopefully the future will bring the end of Praba, and a new more reasonable president, as I dont see things progressing as they are. The 2 leaders in this confict both embarass me as a Sri Lankan, and I hope we will see more forward-looking,Mandella-like replacements to take the talks forward...</blockquote>
