Sirasa television had interviewed a Tamil Nadu LTTE supporter on Friday night November21. According to L. Jayasooriya who watched the interview, this Tiger sympathizer had insisted that Sri Lanka's North and East are definitely Tamil areas and there was no question of 'liberating' them from anyone.
This interview had been obviously done with the purpose of ridiculing the liberation of the Wanni from LTTE terrorism by the Security Forces.
Now the question is will an Indian television station interview Pakistani supporter of the Kashmiri separatists and allow him to ridicule or scoff at Indian Army operations in Kashmir.
It is high time that the government took firm action against this treacherous media organization which has always been trying to belittle the Sri Lankan Security forces and indirectly promote the Tiger agenda.
Small wonder that MTV/Sirasa is known as 'Koti First' or Tigers First news station because they always call their news program a 'News First''.
