ur a lucky person if so.. when did u buy the connection?
coz 15of my friends took airtel and they say that its slow yet..
may be ur area bandwidth is good or some thing..im not sure..
ya they promice a 3.2mbps and give 1.8mpbs ..
at the 1st week i used airtel i was given a 3.2mbps connection and later only it was reduced..
im waiting till mobitel gives the 4g network in jan so the internet connections will go low again... the local bandwidth of it will be 300mpbs and the international bandwidth will be 1mbps to 10mpbs depending on ur package...
im sure that it will rock coz the local file sharing will be fast..

yah hopefuly....
the thing is in singapore the 100Mbps packg aproxmtly cost around 118S$=9500rs
but in SL for a 4Mbps package v shud almost pay that ammount..........
all v cud do is wait for em to launch it..........

ya cost is for the cable..coz internet belongs to a US company..
the fiber cables cost some money that our government's not gona buy..
a private companey will buy but they also have to cover the cost ney..
currenty lanka com is a is a subsidiary of Singapore Telecom ..

wel i did expernce sm probz too....but after their upgrades its runing soo smooth..its always above 1Mbps..wich is awsome.....
the only thing is that the ping is abit too mch....but anws not that big a prob for me.....

soo far ma best result..

dude i knw....i went to kolpety n got the same in4....and dis months bil has da same in4 too.....but soo far iv downloaded tons of data....last mnth was around 35GBs....dis month alredy around 15GBs....but nthn yet...dey do say so....but so far i dint xprnce it.......and ma speeeds are awsm aftr deyr servr upgrades..........

my billing cycle start from 24. now i have used near 20 GB. but according to MDMA still its 1856, some times its may change.

wel b4 the ping was around 50ms and the speeds wrnt good.....
now the ping snt dat good but speeds are awsm.......
but for me the ping isnt that big a prob.....so im kwl wi it........

n i do have airtel unlimited package.it works fine most of da time and i hit 1.87mbps regulary.if ur in nugegoda n have good signal ul get same results.

there is a cheaper modem at barclays prolink phs100 which is 9450 rs n cheaper than airtels' with added tax n all.plus micro sd slot too.

DEAR ALL, DONT BUY HULANTEL. AUTUALLY IT MUST RENAME AS HULANTEL. NO SPEED AT ALL. NO COVERAGE. DISCONNECT WHEN YOU CONNECT, WHILE CHARTERING. GO 4 DIALOG OR MOBITEL. BEST SOLUTION IN SL.

machn anyone feel about airtel FUK? last moth my usage around 50GB bt no speed reduce. i think now its very stable than early. airtel unlimited users plz comment.
(bt my adsl speed lil bit slow i dont think SLT has FUK lol)
