Dish TV, a satellite TV service of Indian Essel Group, has officially announced that it will soon merge with Bharti Airtel's Airtel Digital TV satellite TV service.
The new DTH service, dubbed "Airtel Digital TV", will hold a 57.52% stake in Bharti Airtel and the rest to Essel Group.
The new satellite TV service will be the largest DTH service in the world, with over 600 million customers in India and Sri Lanka.
Dish TV last year incorporated the Indian Videocon D2H service with its DTH service
