AFAIK, PC House has a Gigabyte board. Not very sure though.
Why did you really go for a Athlon64 if you bought yours 4 months ago?
Bit of fanboysm. And I didnt knw that it would be so hard to find athlon64s here.Anyway I ordered the mobo.U knw that AMD boards have lots of features filled with coz they have nVidia chipsets. So I liked AMD things.

Still, you could have gone with an Intel CPU and a nForce chipset board

Why would anyone consider an Athlon64 these days? Especially for that price, When you can buy a PentiumD 3.2GHz or better for Rs.17,000. Besides, no point going for an Athlon64 over an PentiumD or even a Pentium4 if you use crappy video cards.

    Can u plug in a Pentium D or $ into a Socket 939?
No idiot. You could have asked your uncle to send a Socket775 motherboard instead of a S939 motherboard. You could still have gone with nForce4 SLi if you really wanted that.

Chik.It is an Intel ne.And why would I use an nVidia chipset for Intel while there r Intel chipsets? There wasnt a luxurious board for AM2 @ that time.Only MSI K9N diamond. It doesnt have much like my board.

I thought you liked nForce chipsets.

At least it's future proof. You could even stick a K10 in it

I like nForce coz no AMD chipsets for K8.AMD is low cost ne.They had a long run with K7 too.But I heard of AM3 sumthing. Is it true?
AM3 is not coming anytime soon. There will be a AM2+ iirc. Only difference will be the DDR3 support. Not sure though.
