But a 3500+ isn't very good at multitasking as a 3GHz P4 with HT. It will win in every game, but might not when it comes to video encoding.

I think that Black Asus board is A8N 32-Sli Deluxe.That is the main competitor for my board and it is fanatic too.BTW there was a version of 3500+ which had 1MB cache.It is a old 130nm one.If u had that it would be fast than the normal new 512KB one.And I f u have the 3700+ San Diego core one iu r lucky coz it has too a 1MB cache.

That is true.It will as some other AMD CPUs .But sum 1MB cache ones win it.

Yeah .But I wonder why cant they come with 2M(1MX2).Once I saw a Diagram of the CPU core somewhere.There were enogh space for that as I remember.

Too expensive to make, and no significant improvement in performance.

And the S754 3700+ is 2.4GHz and at most times, faster than the S939 one.

Yeah.

There is a difference, but that difference is too small to justify the huge manufacturing costs (and lower profit margin)
