Former-Intel employee, current-AMD employee, and probable future-Federal prison resident Biswamohan Pani is the guy who stole a whole bunch of confidential information from Intel, according to the FBI. Biswahoman Pani worked for Intel. Claiming to miss his wife, he requested a transfer from California to Intel's Hudson facility where she worked. That same day, when the request was granted, Pani turned in his resignation and announced that he'd be taking vacation for his last two weeks at the company. His new job would be with a hedge fund.

    Pani says that he copied the files for his wife, who also works at Intel. For all the feds care, he may as well have said that he stole them as a birthday present for his mom or as souvenirs to decorate his house.

    :lol::lol: Pity you guys! :lol::lol:

    But only you guys to be blamed too!! :frown: Because some people... even in this thread mentioned that "competition is good" but when it comes to buying... everybody wants Intel :rolleyes: so when AMD is cut off from the demand you get neither of them CHEAPER!!

    By right.. an entry level Phenom X4 should cost almost 50% of the price of an entry level Intel C2Q... at least looking at the prices here, it seems that way!

    Exactly.. My personal experience... Last time I went home.. I took with me an AMDx2 5000 CPU for my uncle.. and somehow after I arrived he changed his mind and went for a Laptop.. I thought I'll be able to sell the CPU in SL..

    DAMN!! till now its @ my house! :lol: :lol: At that time the same CPU cost around 18k in Unity and I couldn't sell it for 10k even!! :lol::lol:

    now that its public if amd does use any technology or designs specidic to intel.. upon detection of it in their processors intel can file a suit or even worse intel can publicize that amd uses stolen info and is not an ethical co.
    according to ethical policies amd should return the info bk to intel lmao
    fat chance of that happenin proper!
