will you compare AMD x2 processors with Intel's Core 2 series?
The Core 2 processors are much faster than AMD's similar counterparts and they don't heat a lot either

And AMD OPTERON is the most powerful server proccersor....
worldwide 8/13 servers are Powerd by AMD Opterons....

So guys AMD is doing great job for us (Gamers & High End users) neda...???

Intel's nehalem microarchitechture based server processors will be much faster than AMD's shanghai based Opterons because of QPI

Hypertransport= hyperthreading

That's completely wrong, hypertransport is a high speed interconnect while hyperthreading is SMP

And, Intel didn't copy L3 cache usage from AMD, they had been using it in server processors

Nvidia started the concept of dual GPU cards with the 7900GX2 and 7950GX2 , ATI started it with HD 3870X2

Therefore, you cannot say that AMD invented all the things that we commonly find on CPUs and GPUs

BTW the current Phenom lineup is hopeless, even the 2 year old Q6600 can pass almost every Phenom x4 processor
