    Good Morning!!! ;) ;) ;) ;) :D :D :D ;) ;)

Mama me aiyala gen ahanna kiyala hitiye mata me thiyena problem eka gana. Menna mage computer eka:

    AMD Athlon X2 6000+ 3.0 GHz running @ 3.0GHz
    4GB DDR2 PC6400 800MHz RAM
    M2N-SLI nForce 560i Motherboard
    8800GT SLI running at PCI-E 2.0 @ 8x/8x

mekai case eka, mata crysis wage games wala hondha FPS enawa [for e.g. crysis warhead I run @ All Ethusiast (Very High), no AA, No V-Sync, 1680x1050], at some stages I get 40-45fps (even 50 sometimes) and then all of a sudden when I turn around it drops to 30 and sometimes even 20-25 (which is unplayable...not smooth). This only occurs very rarely but it is very frustrating when it occurs.

    Is my problem....a CPU bottleneck?
some setting(s) in windows or BIOS that I am not aware of??
    Driver issues?
    BIOS version issue?
    or will I need a GPU upgrade to a single card @ 16x ?

mama monawadha karanna orna aiye? mama hena walakata vatila inne. mata OC karannath baa CPU eka mokada motherboard is not so great. mata CPU eka wenas karana giyoth hena hutapateyak money wise.

    Oyalage advice eka mokadda?

    Bohoma Isthuthi :) :D:D:D Suba Dhavasak!!! ;) ;) Randheera Malliyaa:love: Budhu Saranai

FPS drop when you turn around happens with me too, I think It's normal for most of the PCs. Anyway I'm also gaming with all enthusiast but "motion blur", So I got rid of the problem a bit, I think that stuttering is mostly caused by motion blur which is usually hardware hog.. Anyways your CPU may be a bottleneck too, Other than that your specs are fine... Time for a Phenom II .. :D what do ya say ?

malli reduce the resolution a little bit and put 4x AA.with AA game looks superb. what do you mean by turn around?
    In game turning?
then it is normal to lag frames.because of high texture resolution and textures need to refresh.memory in dual Chanel right?then memory bandwidth is not a bottleneck.

Cpu can be a bottleneck.your cpu can be compared to core 2 duo 2.2.GPU is not a problem.since it is in SLI.

you know when the heat of the gpus getting higher nvidia driver is reducing the gpu clocks automatically.check gpu temperature to check this .I had this issue 4 years back with my FX5500 card ,which was passivley cooled.

motion blur for me is really annoying for any game.It does not deliver the real motion effect. But blur the whole thing.

Phenom II puluwan wei mobo eka AM2+ compatible nam, or if you upgrade the BIOS, check with Asus.. Anyway your mobo has some OCing potential right ? It's crippled down by your current CPU. I don't know much abt your cooler but even the stock cooler will let you some decent overclocking. Xigmatek HDT-1283 is a decent buy, But I believe the current cooler you are having will be sufficient too..

no aiya...they were recommended to me:)....I can't remember by who habai. :(

CPU upgrade to Phenom II (not that I am going to, just asking)? is that the best budget-wise? :) :)

Ok your mobo supports AM2+ so it will support Phenom II (probably with a bios upgrade).. Phenom II beats the Phenom in gaming,of course it will beat your CPU too ,but compare Phenom II against your CPU for the performance gain (%) since in some cases Phenom (I) was slower than your CPU in gaming. :)

Hey malaya.... Ur GPUs are not in SLI no..?
    So how ur CPU bottleneck...?
And other thing u hav 8800 GT:P Not GTS or GTX:rolleyes:
So i think this is something wrong with ur VGA..
Check Nvidia latest driver & try it... wot abt other games..Far cry 2...?
Dnt worry Crysis Optimized for nvidia & nw its become a crappy game for all VGAs:confused:

I think dnt changing ur CPU is a wrong idea...cuz if u go for a Phenom II..Ur 8800 GT will bottleneck like da hell..:P
