A U.S. Air Force F-16 fighter jet crashed near an island of Gunsan County, North Jeolla on Wednesday.
The pilot reportedly escaped before the jet crashed into the sea at around 8:40 a.m.
More details of the incident are yet to be released by the U.S. Forces Korea.
