My S20+ got this green line and white screen death back in 2021 October. These issues are not caused by Android updates as some of these dumb idiots think. For example, entire S20 series of Samsung with Exynos 990 SoC faced this issue at random occasions due to the excessive heat melting the glue which connects OLED flex cable and eventually damages the flex. This is the reason and this will happen whether you update your phone or not. Most of the people notice this after a major Android upgrade because the update process and the rebuilding of dalkvik cache creates an excessive heat.
