if you give those 2 details, then they can access your desktop. But this is only if teamviewer is running on your PC. if its not running or uninstalled, then they cant access your desktop.

he sees the same desktop that you see. If he moves the mouse, you can see him do it. So he cant mess your PC without you knowing it.
If you dont trust him, best thing is NOT to give the details to him and uninstall the software from your PC. Then he has no access to it.

If you install it in daemon mode or if you leave your desktop while teamviewer is running, then its damn dangerous.
