Because they will charge GPRS charges for all chat events.
They dont tell that seen on thr advertisements. First tine when i heard that newa i was vary happy. I asked about gprs charges fro call center. But they said its free.
But Fu****g dialog site says

So what the hel is this. Why we have to pay additional 50 rs? We cn use yahoo messenger, Google talk, skype, nimbuzz, disgby on our phone tatally free.
We have to pay only gpts charges for those chat clients. Some clients support multiple IM servers. Example nimbuzz.
It support yahoo, google talk, yahoo messenger and more in one client.
Its light weight and easy to use. Totally free. No rental.
So why we need to pay additional 50 rs for dialog messenger.
I hate dialog always. Because they always trying to cheat thr customers.
Rates
Monthly rental: Rs.50/-
Customers are entitled for 10 FREE SMS and MMS per month through Dialog Messenger
(Not allowed to carry forward unused SMS/MMS from the monthly quota)
Conditions
For Dialog Post-paid customers
The account will be deleted if rental is not paid for a time period of 3 months
For Dialog Kit Pre-paid customers
The account will be deactivated if there isn’t sufficient credit for the monthly rental.
The account will be deleted permanently if rental is not paid for 3 months.
