Another tsunami alert ...... please be aware [22nd July 2009]

Ok then, let me make my point clearer with this diagram:

As you can see, my friends, during the Dec 2004 Tsunami, the whole western coast of Africa was exposed to the Tsunami... there was nothing to obstruct its path... nothing to slow it down...

Now with the little warning Chamidi gave us... we can see that if the earthquake epicentre originates from the tectonic plates near Japan... there would be a whole landmass, composed of indonesia etc, to protect us, if a tsunami was to occur... we may only receive a few aftershocks of the actual earthquake... BUT NO TSUNAMI!!!!

If this occured in the indonesian tectonic plates, well then, Dec 2004 could happen again... no doubt about it... but the map Chamidi posted, n the websites lkgamage posted clearly shows that this wud occur near Japan n not Indonesia!!!

Another thing that has caught my attention are the websites our friend lkgamage has posted... these are all blogs, where different people can put any of their bogus thoughts and ideas... have any of you got professional news providers?... CNN? AL JAZEERA? Any of SL newsproviders? Even the BBC???... These professionals hav no news of this... Wat I believe is that some stupid person on the net is spreading rumours to terrorise people of south asia...

Until one of us can find a reliable news article regarding this matter, I think we should all calm down...

Its jus like the AirFrance (AF447) Crash story... where people started posting pix on blogs from the TV series 'Lost', claiming that some passenger took pix of the last moment of the plane...

If there is going to be a Tsunami, we will be notified by the official channels very very soon... dont fall for these kinds of hoax emails... but if u do get to know something from a confirmed official source, do let everyone know

LOL...a few small islands arent that effective against a tsunami... but a country as huge as indonesia, acts like shield/barrier... its quite a logical thought chamidi...

we can not think about how much energy of the waveform dissipate without the geographical view of islands it met .... actually Indonesia is a large land which can dissipate more energy ,but it can be done with large number of small islands ...
