what is the best antivirus now on ? I think Panda 2008 is a good one..
    but it is slowing down
    the computer too much..

Kaspersky & Nod32 are better with the speeds & protection ..

    So post ur viewpoints here...

Kaspersky, NOD32, AVG are good :D

Windows Vista Defender is also a cool tool :D which comes default with the OS :)

    Install WinPatrol as well :)

Symantec or Norton might be the best in terms of an ANTI VIRUS perspective...

But due to the high resource usage :S :S :S

    yes I agreed.
But Norton doesn't even allow to send ICMP (ping) any one to your machine.
It blocks dozens of viruses, trojans and also attempts to hack you

Use WinPartol for that purpose... Pretty cool and a light weight SW ;)

Most of people do not like it bcoz of da slow down da startup.
    but security purposes = Norton

Best virus guard is common sense and rules of general computing (eg: don't use an admin account for normal use). You don't need a software virus guard.
