Yeah with capitalism ppl who invest. Going to earn unlimitedly while ppl who wrks f salary gonna b in trouble .i firmly believe thir shudnt b equality . Coz if u wrk hard o takes a higher risk u shud receive mre thn a lazy fellow who sleeps at office desk. With this gov with all these projects going on. Still i dnt think it will make us rich even in a decade. When british went wht was our main exports? Still remains it only addition is garments.we still import some f agriculture products we can easily produce here n so on with other things too. Making work force into professionals will b good providinf tgey will either send money here o they will comebk with moñey after some times bt sadly most professionals who go abroad apply pr in those countries . In such way we losse big money we produce mbbs doc spending 6 m rupees f public money n gift our product to uk That d sad part

Equality and classless society is the main goal of socialism.. but its highly unlikely to achieve, at least there should be way to maintain low rich poor gap :)

Yes as you said if people migrates there will be problem. Currently if we consider about IT software engineering sector there are a lot, but 99% of them are outsourced companies who expects cheap labor. If Sri lanka produces professional engineers and establish local software companies who develops international software products that will change the story. IT sector is just an example there are a lot more.

Agriculture and livestock has to be developed for our consumption and prevent from importing. On the other hand we could have few manufacturing industries (not just raw material industries) to earn extra more :)

Yes i know even niw IT ppl doing great things evn london stock exchange uses sw developed by some sl company. My knowledge abt. It sector is minimum. Yes rather thn exporting raw materials we shud try to export value added products so does we will able to differenciate n also with finish products our bargaining capacity increases. Livestock z a cultural issue here though its currently take place there z a clear doubt will investors come along to invest social risks seems to b so high with bbs. Other thing is pvt campus senario wht will anura do?

Its a pleasure even to know among these idiots still ppl like u remains . Yes u hv a valid point abt shirani villagers dnt knw abt her n so they will vote f their known idiot.as u said anura wil b able attract youth in rural areas so does in urban cities n bt getting d votes f older ppl gonna b d challenge coz wht evr reason memories f 71 n 89 still remains in their heads. Other thing has he got d capacity to operate as a president specially in bringing economy back in to track? Once in a discussion i heard vijitha herath said we shud manufacture tractors here bt i thought it was funny considering economics f scale size f our mkt. finance capacity n so on to compete with china n india. I think we shud stay with our strong points n needs to understand where we can compete n by differenciating . If we try to produce evry thing in sake f minimizing imports we will go bad to worse:) so i doubt whether thy hv enough economic knowledge coz we see whts going on with mahinda with less economic knowledge

Pleasure is mine. Just for ur information mcn I don't suggest JVP to come to power. I believe in a combined ruling party where UNP takes more seats while JVP and Fonseka's party are included in it. In that government president should be Anura, because I can't see any alternative candidate in the current system. This might seems as a unstable government but to stop injustice and corruption going in our country we should have a govt like this at least for a one session.

I don't have a much idea about the economic policy of JVP and their practical usage of it. That's why I think UNP should take the economic decisions of the country. Like u said we have to specialize products and services, and engage in International trade. But we should not purely depend on imports, specially not on goods like rice, milk, medicines & other necessary items. We have to produce such things despite of the profit or productivity to maintain our sovereignty, because global powers like USA and China have a interest in our strategic geographical position.

Yes mach jvp should nt b d economic decision makers f d country . Once hilariously they suggested to pay foreign debt in rupess. Yes we shud differeciate n by doing so we create bargaining power n less competition for our exports .we still nt hv developed any world class brand though dilmah has made few strides as u said we shud try to produce all d agricultural products that we could evn if d cost f producing it beats d import cost. So does diaries production.harsha de silva n eran wickramarathna former ndb ceo wud b great for d post f finance minister.corruption at its peak now a days u cant imagine wht it wil b poor common businessmen's future . Evn d professionals in d professions that we respect has caught up with ugly incidents which makes us frustrate as a society.:(

Regarding private campuses he has not mentioned anything but i don't think he will support them. (whereas i personally support private campuses).
If anura breeds socialism properly government should be able to establish many universities and improve their facilities which will ultimately remove current competition.
In that case there will be no big different in moratuwa and ruhuna... Colombo popular schools and normal schools..
This cannot be done immediately it takes alot of time and cost.

Yes Millenium IT is the company that has london stock software piece and tehre are alot more new companies like WSO2 who does great stuff.

BBS is nothing compared to KKK in USA. Investors don't give a damn on culture as long as they earn profit

Just as u support pvt unis so do i . I dnt think we will able to give evryone who pass AL"s uni entry through gov unis nt in short term for sure n i doubt for long term too . We need rigorous change in syllabus to evrythng . N not only. Pvt there r various other professional qualifications ex frm finance n mgt field cima acca cim cfa n list goes on wht will he do for those? Equal facilities does nt give equal branding just as we can get all d engineers frm toyota n produce a car n name mahinda bt ppl will buy toyota any day thts with royal ananda. Ds so its nt for nxt two decades for sure .then wht will happen to int schools? I know one guy who is just 4 at british school of col Pre sch being charged 80 000 thy hv tht massive building . Wht happento those invesments? I know businesmen s dnt gv a shit about d culture bt thy concern with d risk. Culture z something n cultural risk z anther we have it here big time thats y u see mahinda at temples n treat monks well n so By doing so he Manage it to his advantage . Poor ranil going no where with. It
