accommodation :: at least $ 100 per week.....most of times more than that....for share accommodation. You can change after you settle down.

part time jobs :: it is not easy to find a part time job.....it depends on ur luck bro...and ya u can...if u have contacts with old students or someone in mel....but TBH... it is hard to find......

i think ur gonna come to accelerated course i think...1 and half years is nt it ???

try with your fnds for the first few weeks.its best to live with old fnds, as they know how to find jobs. it is not your luck , if you try hard and willing to do any job , then you will get a one. try colesexpress, safeway and and news paper delivery jobs. there is a one news agency near tennison rd, east malvern. one sri lankan guy working there and help our students at his best. for coles express , just go to ringwood east site and hand over your resume. they always needpeople to cover nightshift. safeway and coles , trynightfill positions: , always there is a chanse. you have to try . dont think this is like sri lanka. if you work hard management will help you .

Anyway, "IamLankan" Malli...anith aya kiwuwa wagey AMBAAANAKA kattak kanna balagena enna..most students who come from Lanka think its a paradise to enjoy your newly found freedom, spend your parent's money and party hard...Well, you may as well do that BUT the consequences are very very bad and hard...

So, my advice for you is.....Work EXTREMELY hard...find your $$$ so you can ease up your parent's pressure, Eat well, study well and once in a while reward your self for all the hard work..
