Machan When you boot Win 7 in a machine with Snow leopard, when you select win 7, Did it take more time to get in to windows? For my case it always took more than 2 min to start win 7, So i removed win 7.if you are using osx lion, then you can do partition & install windows 7.once you are done with it.log in back to osx lion,go to Boot Camp Assistant, and on that you either select to download supporting softwares from Apple servers or else you can use the installation disk or any other media that came with your mac.
see the screenshot I took.

btw I've used windows xp,Windows Vista,Windows 7 on both osx leopard & snow leopard.even xp worked on osx lion, but since I needed to go for win7,I removed the partition & reinstaled Windows 7 on osx lion.

I meant time to load OS. When we select Win 7, It stays on a black screen for reasonable time to load Win 7.. Do you have the same problem?can't remember exactly how long it took to get from boot to the login screen, but as far as I can remember,it takes sometime to load the os. I use Win7,only if there's no any alternative for a software.

Did you manage to work Win XP with all the drivers? Is it a genuine XP?
