Ali eken dapu arduino uno clone board ekak 4 months walata withara passe awa (thanks BW)
awula mekai, usb cable connect kalata board eka detect wenne na "device manager" eke.

usb power dunnama, On "Green Light" eka digatama thiyenawa & L "orange light" eka blink wewi thiyenawa.

usb to serial converter ekata thiyenne ATmega16U2 chip ekak, ekanisa special drivers danna one na kiyanawa, (CH340 thiyena clone boards ekak neme).

any help or suggestion guys? mage laga thawa arduino ekak na bootloader burn karannath.

හරී com port එක තෙරුවද ? කොයි කටත් ස්ක්‍රිප්ට් එකක් upload කරන්න ට්‍රයි කරලා බලන්න..

If you did the digitally signed thing install arduino software. Change USB ports

Then buy the cheapest arduino you can buy and test again. Dude if you are getting in to the embedded systems world you should be able to figure these things out. It gets very complex real quick once you get things going. Arduino is just a kids toy.

I tried all the stuff I found on google, stackoverflow, arduino forum & etc. I posted here after doing all the things I could find on net. So I think I tried my best to "figure things out" and I just wanted to check is it possible to get this back without buying another arduino. I think 16U2 is faulty in this board.

When that processor is faulty (Not completely burnt) you usually cannot upload sketches anymore via board's inbuilt USB. Still the board will be identified. Try a different USB cable as well. Anyway you should have a spare arduino because 16U2 so fragile. Despite whatever the internet tutorials say never power a servo or anything like that which has a coil, directly from Arduino.

You might think that but it's not the case. Failure of 16U2 or CH340 has never made the board unrecognizable for me. Maybe it's because my computer has already recognized it before it failed. Everytime I connect the board it comes up in the device manager. But in your case I have never had a board DOA. So I don't know. But it's usually you cannot communicate via that processor anymore. CH340 is what I prefer because it is very easy to replace them with a soldering iron and a hot air gun. You should have a good UNO as a spare (So you can use Arduino as ISP) and you should do all the testing on a Mini or a Uno copy. Or you should have a seperate programmer. Just buy an arduino Mini with a builtin CH340
