Sachin Tendulkar’s son Arjun Tendulkar played a scintillating knock of 118 from 42 balls at Smaash Master Blaster Tournament. Arjun is a part of Team Dhirubhai Ambani International School at the tournament.
As many as 102 schools across Mumbai participated in the tournament, which will conclude today (September 20), and Sachin Tendulkar will award the cricketers at the final ceremony.
Earlier, Sachin Tendulkar had asked the media to let his son enjoy his cricket, and not put unnecessary pressure on him. ”
“When I started playing cricket, though my father was a professor and in the literary field, at no stage did I have this pressure from anyone to follow my father’s footsteps. At no stage of my life, there were comparisons. My son has just started his career and it’s a humble request to let him live his life like a normal 14-year-old, without thinking about anything else but falling in love with the sport.”, he had said.
