Release Date: November 23, 2012

Set against the backdrop of the American Revolution in the late 18th century, Assassin's Creed III introduces a new hero, Ratohnhaké:ton, of Native American and English heritage. Adopting the name Connor, he becomes the new voice for justice in the ancient war between the Assassins and Templars. Players become an Assassin in the war for liberty against ruthless tyranny in the most stylized and fluid combat experiences in the franchise to date. Assassin's Creed III spans the Revolutionary War, taking gamers from the vibrant, untamed frontier to bustling colonial towns and the intense, chaotic battlefields where George Washington's Continental Army clashed with the imposing British Army.
An Assassin's Creed 3 shipment bound for Europe has been stolen by criminals, it has been revealed.
A truck containing copies bound for Netherlands, Belgium and Luxembourg was stolen on November 14, reports Entertainment Business (via Kotaku).
Despite the theft, the European release date of November 30 will not be affected, although customers who pre-ordered the Join or Die edition are unlikely to receive their purchases.
Ubisoft has reportedly passed on the stolen barcodes and serial numbers to retailers and blacklisted the numbers from its online authentication server.
It was recently announced that the PC version will be "less buggy" than its console predecessors.
It will include the console launch-day patch as well as an upcoming title update, and PC-specific features for a smoother frame rate and higher-resolution textures.
A season pass is available for Assassin's Creed 3 DLC, which will include new multiplayer maps and the 'Tyranny of King Washington' single-player expansion.
Assassin's Creed 3 will be available on PC from November 23 in Europe and November 20 in the US, as well as the Wii U on launch day in both regions
