I'm not looking for a company. Currently I'm working. For the probation period I get 23K. I want to know how much should I ask from them when I become permanent employee.

 If it is your first job, it is highly depend on your degree.

I know QA ppl from UCSC and UOM, are getting 70K - 120K.

If you are currently getting 23K, i would suggest to ask at least 30K - 35K(beleving that you are doing a good job for yor salary).
What can you do with 23K for these days?
