For Victoria, these are the steps for ICT
1. Lodge an EOI
2. Wait for the Pre-Invite (Could take 1 day to infinity)
3. Send your application with CV and other supporting documents (Your CV will be assessed by a panel of industry experts)
4. Victoria sends you the approval or refusal
- If approved, you will get an invitation from DoHA immediately.
Not to demotivate but this is the reality, you need to have a minimum 90 or 85 points WITHOUT state points to get a pre-invite.
Even though you get a pre-invite only a handful of applicants get approved from Victoria as they are really tough in their selection process. They generally prefer onshore or someone who has a valid job offer.
Good luck!

Victoria IT jobak karana 85 points tyagane 190 illana eka therumak nadda bn?
they are multi talented only on their CV's . But buggers always grab the chance before anyone else.
Agree. But if you have some certain rare skills you might get a chance but hard to compete with the multi talented indians unfortunately![]()
thanks bro.
yeah i'm aware of these points requirements and looks like i can't make it unless i score all 79+ in PTE. also got to do NAATI for 5 more points. a hell lot of work to do compared to canadian migration process
i wasn't aware that they prefer people with job offers... something i need to try but it won't be easy. i've been working in singapore for a while now so hopefully that experience gets counted?
one advantage they have is they have 10 yrs industry experience when they turn 31 or 32. So even if ACS deducts 2 years from their exp, they are still able to score max points for overseas exp + age at the same time. but our people are already 24-25 years old when they graduate thanks to 13 years of education.
it's a black box and nobody knows how they select EOI's and send pre-invites. So the best guess is it's based on the number of points. Yes, NAATI is a good option. Try to book it now coz slots are running out fast.
Well. they generally prefer onshore people with a job offer though it's not a requirement. At least it's what I have seen in the recent past. But if you have an impressive resume (I believe you do) then chances are high. The major hurdle is getting the pre-invite.
And there is a new policy from DHA that they will consider the total number of years of experience after the graduation regardless of ACS deducts it or not. This information is not released to the public try to get it verified from a reputed agent.
